ILBA INFORMATION UPDATE
COVID 19 Disruption Friday, March 20, 2020
I) EXECUTIVE ORDER:
GOVERNOR J.B. PRITZKER issued today a “stay-at-home” Executive Order
A stay-at-home Executive Order is effective Saturday night, 3/21/2020 beginning at 5pm and continues through midnight Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Essential services such as, medical facilities/services, grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations, banks, plumbers, electricians, laundromats, dry cleaners, delivery services, etc. Additionally, curbside food pick-up is still available from our on-premise members.
II) UPDATED INFORMATION
*Federal Government Extends Income Tax Filing and Payment Date until July 15, 2020: All taxpayers and businesses will have this additional time to file and make payments without interest or penalties.
*The President also stated that there would be provisions for Paid Sick Leave without a cost to the Employer.
*The ILCC has issued guidance announcing the extension of state liquor license renewal dates.
All licenses expiring on March 31, 2020, April 30, 2020, and May 31, 2020 are extended until July 31, 2020, but they must be renewed on or before July 31, 2020. No renewal notices will be sent out, it is up to the Licensee to get their license renewed before July 31, 2020. To avoid an administrative backlog, it is recommended that licenses be renewed through MyTax Illinois account as soon as possible. If licenses expire after July 31, 2020 due to administrative limitations, there will be no further extensions granted.

IV) OTHER INFO:
The ILBA Board Meeting and the ILBA / IGMOA Legislative Reception and Lobby Day in Springfield on April 29, 2020 has been CANCELLED.
V) ILBA OFFICE:
The “stay-at-home” Executive Order requires all non-essential jobs to shelter-in-place. The ILBA Office availability during the “stay-at-home” Executive Order will continue via e-mail. We will be checking emails and voice mails on a regular basis and we will keep our members up to date as things progress.
